The agritourism center Valli-Caolana has begun to operate in the 'year 2000, when the "huts were restored" and the building called "Casa Cavatori".

The restructuring, re-proposing the intrinsic architectural features and its traditional buildings of Valcellina, made it possible to obtain an elegant restaurant, accommodation for the manager, some guest rooms, and (in the building Casa Cavatori) four units intended for tourist use and accommodation. In the building that was once the accommodation of the workers engaged in the excavation of stone blocks in the nearby quarry, they have been obtained n. 3 residential units, with bathroom and loft, and n. 1 studio for people with disabilities, getting 16 beds in total. In 2013, new technological systems, including a photovoltaic system and the systems of gas heating, autonomous have been installed.

The ownership of property is the Municipality of Barcis.

There are many tourists who already attend this accommodation complex, attracted by the food service and the wild beauty of the area. From here you can get to, with easy paths, the most attractive areas of these valleys: Piancavallo, Valgrande, Valfredda, Pezzeda, Valpentina, Prescudin, ....

In addition, in the winter months, you can connect with Piancavallo by a lovely cross-country track.

The outer perimeter of the building space is also made practicable by persons with reduced mobility, obtaining specific break spaces and a ramp, having a lower slope of 8%, to reach the elegant portico.
